Teitelbaum writes, “They can’t have it both ways”

Phyliss Teitelbaum writes, “Some people who are pro-consolidation insist that “we are all one”–that there are no significant differences between Princeton Borough residents and Princeton Township residents.  Often the same people say we must consolidate because Borough Council and Township Committee disagree on many issues, and their conflicts lead to inefficient government. If we are all one, if there are no significant differences, then why do Borough Council and Township Committee disagree? They can’t have it both ways.”  SEE FULL LETTER.
